Silver Alert: Assistance Needed Locating Missing Baton Rouge Man
East Baton Rouge Parish – The Louisiana State Police has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office for 64-year-old Chester Baggett. He was last seen at 14740 Florida Boulevard on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at approximately 10:00 p.m. The Louisiana State Police received the request to issue a Silver Alert at approximately 9:41 p.m. today.
Baggett is a white male with blue eyes and gray, partially bald hair. He is 5’6” and weighs approximately 150 pounds. Family reported that Baggett has a medical condition that may cause him to become disoriented.
Baggett was last seen wearing a T-shirt, shorts, and long socks. He is believed to be on foot.
