Pinnacle Treatment Centers Opens New Facility, Expanding Access to Addiction Treatment in Richmond, VA

Comprehensive Outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) Brings Medication, Counseling, and Same-Day Admissions to South Richmond

Richmond, VA, Oct. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Pinnacle Treatment Centers announced today the opening of FCCR Richmond, a new outpatient Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) located at 1801 Hull Street, Richmond, VA 23224. The facility brings comprehensive outpatient addiction treatment - including medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) such as methadone and buprenorphine (Suboxone), individual and group counseling, and same-day admissions - directly into one of Richmond’s most underserved communities. The program is designed to help people stabilize, build coping skills, and maintain their recovery while continuing to work, care for their families, and stay connected to their community.

Richmond has been hit hard by the opioid crisis, with communities on the South Side and East End carrying a disproportionate share of the burden. Residents of neighborhoods like Manchester, Blackwell, Swansboro, and Highland Park have faced real barriers to care - distance, cost, transportation, and long wait times. FCCR Richmond was developed specifically to meet that need, planting a full treatment program in the heart of the community so that fewer people fall through the cracks.

FCCR Richmond accepts Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, most commercial insurance, and self-pay, removing one of the most common barriers that keeps people from getting help. Walk-ins are welcomed, and same-day admissions are available.

“Our team has worked hard to make this happen, and I couldn’t be more proud of what they’ve built here. Richmond has a real need for accessible opioid treatment, and FCCR Richmond is our answer to that”, said Amber Hentz, Regional Vice President at Pinnacle Treatment Centers. “We’re bringing medication, counseling, and same-day admissions to a community that deserves every option available to them. Recovery is possible, and we’re here to help make it happen.”

FCCR Richmond is open Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The facility is located at 1801 Hull Street, Richmond, VA 23224.
